Before you start ~ supplies required: hairdryer, duct tape and jug of cold water
- Heat the fin with a hairdryer to soften the material
- Straighten the fixed fin with your hand
- Set the vertical position with the tape and pour cold water over the fin to lock it in
- Remove the tape – the fin should now be straight
