Dream Team rider Clément Colmas steps up to replace injured Starboard teammate & fellow Frenchman Noïc Garioud – and deliver he did! Clément performed stellar at the recent EuroSUP 2022 (European Championships) in Denmark to bring home 2 silver medals for his country. He finished second in the Sprint race after Italian rider and teammate Claudio Nika and also second in the Technical race after fellow countryman Titouan Puyo.
“I’m glad to finish in 2nd place in the sprint and technical race at the European Championship in Denmark this week.
I have been replacing Noïc in the French team as he is injured (only athletes guys could be registered per event). He was only able to do the long distance as there is no running part and he did a very good job to get second place too behind Titouan Puyo.
The sprint was very tight behind Claudio arriving on the beach with the same wave.
The technical race was a long 6km course. I fought back to 2nd place just before the fish line at the final sprint.” ~ Clément
