Last weekend Starboard Dream Team rider Clement Colmas headed to l’île de Ré to compete at the French Paddle Board Championships, head to head against France’s best in both Long Distance and Technical Race formats. Splendid weather and fantastic ocean conditions greeted the 200 strong field of French SUP racers. Clement raced the 2020 Sprint 14 x 20.75 in both events.
Here’s what Clement has to say about the weekends racing;
“At the technical race, I am happy with my 2nd place because I beat Titouan and I was at the beach sprint with Noic.
At the long-distance it was choppy and a bit downwind, I did my best to keep up with them but didn’t find the cadence and I finished with 3rd place.
The next race for me is the Corsica Paddle Trophy, which is taking place next weekend.”
