A big SUP weekend in Fuerteventura with the last contest of the FESurfing Wave SUP Cup.
This event in it’s fifth edition, brought the best national surfers of this discipline to the Spanish Island. A weekend filled with competitive SUP and several epic heats on the road to victory in each category. During two days, the whole spectrum of competitive SUP was showcased: Sup Surf, beach races, long distance and elite race.
A lot of champions in a lot of categories with Iballa Ruano (Starboard Dream Team) being the biggest highlight . The actual European Champion who took the title in 3 different categories.
In the surf contest, Iballa was unstoppable and easily obtained the Open Elite division.
She then went on to win the technical Beach race on a 12’6” Allstar which would also take her to the victory in the female Elite Long Distance race to finish a big weekend and season in excellent form.
