From the coast of the Iroise Sea in Brittany, France. His parents have brought to his two brothers, sister and he a whole maritime culture: fishing, sailing (dinghy, cruiser, catamaran), windsurfing, kayaking, diving, snorkelling and surfing. Of all these experiences, surfing has been the centre of the whole family’s life.
He enjoys trying all types of boards and competes in 2 sports: surf longboard and SUP surf.
In longboard, he won the European junior title in 2014 in the Azores and contribute to earning Gold for team France. In 2018, he entered the WSL European Qualifying Series and placed 7th.
His favourite sport and the one he does best is stand up paddle surfing and since 2012, he is one of the top riders of the APP World Tour.
He is proud to represent France at ISA World Championship and contributed to France’s Bronze medal in 2018 and both Silver medals in 2016 and 2017. His best individual result is a bronze medal in Denmark in 2017. He is also the current French & European Champion.
Ben likes testing new boards with Starboard and he appreciates foiling. He won the first SUP foil competition of Spain last year.
Competition and travels motivate him a lot. They provide beautiful human and sporting adventures with other athletes to help growing and improving.
