Clément Colmas returns to the 2022 edition of the GlaGla Race, which took place this weekend at the beautiful Lake Annecy in France. The conditions were perfect for it, glassy with no bumps. The course was about 15kms with over 600 racers lining up at the start line. The Dream Team rider finished 2nd in the long distance event after a hard-fought duel with Bruno Hasulyo, however, the New Caledonian racer showed his skills and took the win in the afternoon’s technical race to round off a solid weekend of racing.
Are you wondering what equipment he used to set the lake on fire like that?
Clément raced the 2022 Sprint 14′ x 20.5, the flatwater performance speedster, taking full advantage of the windless and glassy conditions at Lake Annecy. Clément’s paddle choice was also set up for max responsiveness and over a long distance, so he opted for the Lima in Prepreg Carbon construction, utilising the M blade with the super-rigid S30 fixed shaft.
