Punta Ala, Italy – Australian paddler Michael Booth put on a dominant display to win the men’s race at the EuroTour 2023 stop in Punta Ala, Italy. Booth finished the 15km course around Isolottodello Sparviero in a time of 1:32:15, more than two minutes ahead of his nearest competitor.
“I’m really happy with the win,” said Booth. “The conditions were tough, but I was able to stay consistent and put together a good race.”
Booth’s victory was his second on the EuroTour this season. He is now in third place in the overall standings, behind New Caledonia’s Noic Garioud and Donato Freens of the Netherlands.

In the women’s race, Italy’s Cecilia Pampinella won her second consecutive EuroTour event. Pampinella finished in a time of 1:45:32, ahead of Switzerland’s Anna Tschirky and Spain’s Susak Molinero.
