Italian Dream Team rider Caterina Stenta wins the Beach Race Pescara in Pescara, Italy – as part of a national race circuit organised by the Italian Canoe Federation.
“It was a really nice location in the center of Italy with snowy mountains in the background.
I am taking the opportunity to race more in my home country this period until we start the Eurotour, and get to know more the local Sup communities and people compared to last years that I was always travelling and it’s really nice to connect more with the Italian SUP scene.
We were 12 ladies, it was a beach race km with 7 buoy turns in slightly choppy water and some light side wind.

In May there will be a few more events as part of this series in which Catarina will participate, in preparation for the upcoming SUP Euro Tour – hopefully, which does not suffer any cancelled to postponed events due to the pandemic.
