Starboard Dream Team rider Caterina Stenta wins the first race of the season, the ‘Spring SUP Race’ that took place in Lido di Volano, Ferrara, Italy, which was also her first outing on her Starboard All Star as part of the Tiki team.
It hasn’t been a week since we welcomed the Champion SUP racer and Windsurfer to the Starboard Dream Team, joining the ranks of Fiona Wylde and Sonni Hoenscheid, and she’s already posting top podium results. What a great start to the season and for the team!
The 3 x Italian SUP Champion gives a short recap of the event:
“It was a national race of the Italian Canoe Federation circuit named Spring Sup Race in Lido di Volano, Ferrara, Italy.
We were 6 ladies, it was a technical race of 8km with 9 buoy turns and 2 beach runs in flat water and some light wind.
I am hoping and looking forward to racing in the international events soon, once conditons become safe for events to run again!”
