Starboard was also the winner in several other categories, including Gear of the Year — Technology, All Round, Race, while Dream Team rider Espe Barreras won 2023 Women of Year.

Woman of The Year: Esperanza Barreras
Having grown up in a world of sailing and boats, Espe has always had a deep connection to the sea. Espe discovers the Stand Up Paddle from her passion for the sea and being able to spend more time in the water. Guided and motivated by great athletes of the island of Fuerteventura, the Spaniard has since racked up a multitude of wins including ISA World Championship titles, an ICF World Championship title and is the current European Champion.
