The Goat Boater, in collaboration with Windjammer Beach Park, is excited to announce the thrilling finale of the Goat Boater SUP Series – the 6K Wylie Paddle Battle. This epic conclusion to the six-part series promises an adrenaline-pumping adventure for paddle enthusiasts of all levels.

The Paddle Battle, the sixth and final race of the series, is set to be the most exhilarating and technically demanding yet. Paddlers will embark on three 2K laps, each featuring eight buoy turns. Traditionally, paddle battles are held in ocean surf, but this event takes the excitement to an inland lake. The local wakesurfer crew will be on hand with their epic wake-maker boat, creating surf waves for paddlers to navigate during their turns. Participants from last year’s event described it as the most fun they’ve ever had while racing.
To further elevate the technical challenge, an enormous U-shaped inflatable obstacle awaits on the beach for paddlers to conquer between each lap. Get ready to test your agility and speed!
Immediately following the race, attendees can look forward to exciting demos and the highly anticipated season awards ceremony. Plus, there are fantastic giveaways featuring incredible prizes.
Please note that all Goat Boater Races are limited to 60 racers, and this event is exclusively for stand-up paddleboard enthusiasts.
Windjammer Beach Park provides a picturesque backdrop for the race, offering families and spectators the perfect vantage point to witness the action and enjoy the stunning views of Lake Wylie. As a unique feature of the Goat Boater Race series, there will be a 1-mile social paddle directly after the race for all paddlers and their guests.
