About Ole

Ole’s passion for water and attraction to water-sports has been a part of him for as long as he can remember, and even longer for his family with both his parents being national and international wild water champions in the 90’s. Ole has been following his parents’ footsteps in watersports competitions since 2010 and continues the legacy with international titles like European Champion in wildwater and top positions in well-known international paddle boarding races like Nautic Sup Crossing with notable wins at the Sup Alps Trophy and being the current German champion in Sprint and Tech Race.
Besides paddle boarding Ole is pursuing an academic career in Sports and Health at the German Sports University cologne and is a paddleboarding and canoe/kayak coach for kids in his local canoe club.

Why Starboard

Starboard is shaping the future of watersports, not only from an environmental/sustainable aspect but also through the support of younger athletes.

What’s big for 2023

I honestly can’t tell how excited I am for 2023, finally the first year after Covid. I will try to compete in as many events as possible and enjoy being back racing with my fellow competitors around the globe. My goal is to finish in the top 5 at the World championship in Thailand in 200m Sprint and winning the Sup Alps Trophy.
