First stop of the 2023 Euro Tour headed to a new location in Africa: Ceuta. The Battle for Hercules SUP race featured an awesome course around the peninsula of Ceuta, a Spanish autonomous city on the north coast of Africa. Bordered by Morocco, it lies along the boundary between the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic where both oceans meet. Wild conditions at the start meant the main bunch broke up within the first 500m. After that, it was followed by a technical downwind to the finish line.
Spanish Dream Team rider Espe Barreras had a solid performance on her All Star to take the win;

It was great to see the kids racing all along the city battlement on their courses, excited about the first race of the season.
