Designed for speed downwind and early takeoff. The aim of the Ace Foil is to offer a super-fast accelerating board to quickly catch bumps and accelerate quickly onto foil. The Ace Foil Lightning foil board is available in narrow sizes from 15″ up to 19″.
The 8’2” x 18” Ace Foil Lightning comes in our ultra-light ZERO construction, weighing under 4.5 kg—our lightest build ever!
Minimal weight design for maximum performance and efficiency. Every gram of raw materials is scrutinized to create a durable product at the lightest weight possible.
UNMATCHED PERFORMANCE CAPABILITIES
Narrow widths from 15″ to 19″ designed for speed downwind and early takeoff, quickly catching bumps and accelerating onto foil. Maintain high speeds with smooth, efficient airflow and effortless glide.
PURE FOILING CROSSOVER
In addition to being a phenominal SUP downwinding board, the Ace Foil Lightning is a fantastic crossover range, excelling in light wind wingfoiling conditions, as well flat water foiling.
HIGH PERFORMANCE COMBO
Pair the Ace Foil Lightning with the new Foil Blade for enhanced acceleration performance. This blade is designed to accelerate you onto foil, and the shorter blade height gives you more clearance from paddle to foil.
The teardrop outline is the most efficient outline, offering even volume and a stable shape. The Lightning range has a straighter parallel outline to maximise the stability from the narrow width.
NARROW SIZES
From 15″ to 19″, the Ace Lightning models are designed for maximum efficiency and speed. The longer lengths provide float and allow for fast paddling into bumps and onto the foil, while the narrow width limits drag during touchdowns and flight.
NEW PIN TAIL
Tracking and efficiency are two key aspects of the pintail design. The pin tail offers great tracking for catching bumps, while the pin tail also brings the water back together, allowing a more efficient takeoff and touchdown with less board touching the water.
FLAT DECK
The deck is kept flat to utilize the full width, offering more space and comfort from these narrow outlines.
NEW ROUND RAILS
The rounded rails were originally designed to be easy to use in choppy ocean conditions. This same concept has been brought to the Ace Foil model, which not only creates ease in the chop but also allows the board to have an amazing spring when pumping to get on the foil.
NEW ROCKER
The rocker is fine-tuned for speed, spring, and larger bumps. The rockerline has been tested in a range of conditions, from flatwater to large ocean swell.
BRUSHED DECK PAD
The new brushed deck pad is less abrasive on the knees while offering comfort and grip. The Ace Foil Lightning also features a kickpad for improved control and a reference point when stepping back.
NEW 16” FOIL BOX
With many iterations of downwind foils hitting the market, the 16″ foil box caters to any foil preference. This downwind model features a “further forward” box for fine-tuned and comfortable downwind foiling.
BOARD SOCK
Reduces paper waste while protecting your board from dust, scratches, and UV damage. Made with stretchable polyester, it fits various board shapes. Ensure optimal board maintenance with the iconic blue Board Sock, featuring a secure drawstring closure.
Experience the lightest, stiffest, and strongest technology to get you flying faster and for longer.
› Get flying faster with a lighter board
Using top-grade 150g Biaxial Carbon, the board is significantly lighter yet incredibly strong and stiff. A custom process creates a double stringer, boosting breakage strength and stiffness.
› Reinforced standing area
High-density PVC in the standing area enhances durability and prevents heel dents.
› Maximum stiffness and rigidity
Lightweight biaxial carbon fiber on the deck and bottom ensures stiffness and rigidity. An arrow-shaped PVC stringer provides extra breakage strength and stiffness over the foil, essential for long, narrow shapes.
After years of development in SUP racing, we’re bringing our latest hollow construction to the 8’2” x 18” Ace Foil Lightning—the world’s first hollow downwind foil board.
With an unmatched strength-to-weight ratio, this board sets a new industry standard as the lightest in its category.
By removing the foam core and employing premium, ultra-lightweight materials, this groundbreaking board pushes the boundaries of speed, lift, and flight time in foiling.
The dream board for every rider up to 110kg. Featuring a high aspect ratio for speed while offering enough volume for most riders; we think that the 8’4” will raise the level of riding as larger riders now have access to a faster foil board.

The 7’5” x 15” Ace Foil Lightning ⚡︎ is our narrowest and highest specification model.
Designed to have lightning-fast acceleration, the Ace Foil 7’5″ x 15″ lets you downwind with smaller, faster foils.
This model is the narrowest SUP or Foil model we’ve ever made, and stability is provided by the additional board length, parallel outline and foil’s mast. The deck is flattened and widened to maximize the standing width of the board.
